Pumpkin Patch

We made our own pumpkin patch. I found some great orange fabric on the bargain table. Felt could be used but I thought  that the print was fun! The students each drew a lopsided pumpkin on white paper and cut it out. This became the pattern. We then pinned the pattern onto cloth and cut the fabric out double. I took these home and sewed around them, leaving an opening on the bottom. The kids stuffed these with pillow stuffing and then I hand sewed the opening shut. Felt scraps were glued on to make our pumpkins into jack o'lanterns.
