Moose Of Course by Lynn Plourde

This summer, while vacationing in Maine, I hoped to find a moose. I actually sighted 3 moose which led to teaching about moose in Language Arts. We made muffin moose with the book," If You Give a Moose a Muffin", drew antlers on our photographs with ,"Imogene's Antlers," made mustaches on our photographs with, "Moostache," and made a moose head with rubbings of our gym shoes using the book,"Antler's Forever!" The children made a brown crayon rubbing of their gym shoe's sole, added eyes, nose, mouth and hand traced antlers. Antelrs facts were cut and glued on the antlers. The whole week was, " moosevelous!"
