Combine a nutrition unit and a weather unit and you get ,"Cloudy with a Chance of..."Our cover pages were made by drawing umbrellas and rain along with a food picture cut from a magazine. Some examples are: "Cloudy with a Chance of Bananas, cinnamon rolls. pickles, etc."
Using word, we learned landscape mode and made a title page using clip art that was the same food as our cover.
After reading the book, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." we made weather reports. we used black paper, a white tv screen and then illustrated our
forecast. We also found examples of cause and effect throughout the book and used those edamples t
o make newspaper headlines.
