The next few weeks, my class will be studying how Christmas is celebrated in different countries.
We start out with a 3 ring binder to store our projects in. We pretend that the binder is our suitcase. Our first page of this book is a drawing of the items inside our suitcase. The next page is our itinerary. We are tracking our miles from one country to the next.
Each country has a title page with illustrations of things that we learned about from that country, a report, and a craft project.
1. Mexico- poinsettias made from Christmas paper overlapping petals.
2. Germany- gingerbread men cut from felt and cuckoo clocks.
3. France- The Eiffel tower lit with Christmas lights and fireworks in the background.
