The second graders used hand painted textured paper to decorate tiles for Thanksgiving. I purchased inexpensive tiles from Menards. We traced our hands on textured painted paper and made the traditional "hand Turkey". Our turkeys were embellished with bits of scrap paper. I took the turkeys home with me and attached them to tiles using Modge Podge. We each wrote a turkey fact "trivia' about a turkey and included it with our trivets.
