I gave each of my students a piece of candy corn and asked them how it could remind them of God. Immediately, someone noticed the three colors and answered, "the Trinity." My next question was how could each of the colors remind them of the Trinity. It was amazing! They thoughtof the yellow as God's heavenly throne, the orange as the Holy Spirit ablaze in their hearts and the white as the forgiveness of sins. We made giant pieces of candy corn and wrote on each color our explanations. The back of the candy corn was written with Psalm 119:03 paraphrased a little bit to say," How sweet Your words are to my taste, sweeter than candy!" We are going to attach small bags of candy corn and give these away.
