My class discovered while watching a Discovery channel video, that crows are one of the top ten most intelligent animals. This led us to researching crows, and then of course an exercise in expository writing. The artwork for our books were construction paper crows on colored paper. The crows were made by tracing our hands for the wings, adding a body, head, feather tuff, beak and curled feet, embellished with stickers, buttons and wiggle eyes.
