Painted paper lizards and the rain forest

For our rain forest unit, we painted papers and made them into camouflaged lizards. 1. Paint paper with finger paint base tinted with acrylic paint. After the tinted paint is brushed on, take a comb through the paint to texturize the paper. 2. When the paper is dry, cut out a lizard shape. 3. Glue the lizard onto black paper and cut around it , leaving a border. 4. Layer with more colors. 5. Mat on a square piece of paper.
